Exercise: several bike rides - 889 calories
Weight: 215.5
Hacker's weight: 215.4
Net Calories: Food(2195) - exercise (889) = Net (111 )
Great choice to ride my bike to seeing patients this afternoon - wonderful riding, awesome weather, felt great. Ate too many brownies making them for the party I can't go to tonight, but was fairly confident that I would be able to exercise enough to make up for them, and in fact did.

Friday 7/8/11
Exercise: 3.5 mile walk (377 calories)
Weight: 214.5
Hacker's weight: 215.4
Net Calories: 1577 - 377 = 1200
Maybe numbers are a little off, got pizza from Kennebec Pizza and MFD doesn't do good job with that kind of food. But still okay for the day. Another long day at work, but okay. Greek yogurt made it easier not to go nuts before late dinner. Another instance of getting distracted before getting up to have dessert I thought I wanted, when remembered later - I wasn't hungry any longer.

Thursday 7/7/11
Exercise: 3.5 mile walk (420 calories)
Weight: 215.5
Hacker's weight: 215.5
Net Calories: 1439-420=1019
Good day eating-wise, had more calories left at the end of the day, but didn't want to eat after 8. Very long day at work, get tired and hungry and want to turn to the candy jar. 7:30-6:30 is longer than I'd like to be working, and I am not done with notes at all yet. Oh well, will have plenty of time this weekend to catch up I am sure.
Changed password to positive statement.
I'm worried about the weekend, with Rich gone and being on call with not much else to do or to keep me busy/happy... will need to plan out some activities, plan my meals.

Starting anew... again... but starting all the same!
Current weight per WW 217.8
Wow, it's been over a year since I started this, and I'm not setting any consistency records yet:-). Still frustrated, still not doing as well as I'd like. Attended my first weight watchers meeting tonight, have never done this before and am decidedly underwhelmed. Should be fun to do with colleagues from work, but so far seems like a lot of money and being sold things, and a system that for me who has already taught myself how to log calories well is actually more complicated than just logging calories. But I have a feeling that the weekly weigh ins are likely to be very effective for me, and just the fact that I'm paying some significant money to do this might also help light a fire under me out of sheer stubbornness.
Plan: Go to WW meetings every week.
Track home weights every day.
Follow original plan when started blog - log calories, exercise every day, blog every day.
I can do this. I have lots of great reasons to lose weight, I miss my runner's body and the energy I had then. I want to be pregnant healthily. I want to have a long happy life free of diabetes. I am capable, intelligent, able to make good choices, and I have all the tools that I need to do this successfully.
